Dojo Bianco isn't rooted in a family history of farming, where the art of harvesting, planting or pruning is passed on through generations, it is in fact the result of many years spent in the hustle and bustle of urbanism, the fast paced rhythm of corporate careers and modern living.
We come from cities, physically and psychologically, and it's there that we have developed a longing for more intimacy with the natural world, the cycle of the seasons and a strong sense of place. Our aspiration, commitment and daily practice, is to live a more balanced and sustainable life, to be at the same time farmers, healers and coaches, who partner with nature and connect with the generative power of the land.
For those who are wondering, the word Dojo derives from the traditional Japanese arts and means "place of training", however the word originates from Sanskrit and translates "place of awakening".
