A Sanctuary of Stillness
in the Heart of Tuscany
Where stillness, connection, and nature come together.
Dojo Bianco isn’t rooted in a family history of farming, where the art of harvesting, planting or pruning is passed on through generations.
It is, in fact, the result of many years spent in the hustle and bustle of urbanism — the fast-paced rhythm of corporate careers and modern living.
We come from cities, physically and psychologically, and it’s there that we developed a longing for more intimacy with the natural world, the cycle of the seasons, and a strong sense of place.
Our aspiration, commitment and daily practice is to live a more balanced and sustainable life — to be, at the same time, farmers, healers and coaches, who partner with nature and connect with the generative power of the land.
Dojo comes from the Japanese arts and means “place of training.” But originally, from Sanskrit, it means something even deeper: “place of awakening.”
Our four rooms are designed to create a sense of silence and stillness — to promote wellbeing and balance.
Our yoga classes, guided meditations, healing and somatic coaching sessions, horse liberty work, detox programs, and workshops aim to generate wellbeing, self-awareness, and create sustainable transformation towards a more fulfilled, meaningful life — and a deeper connection to the aliveness that is inherent in all of us.
Whether you are interested in experiencing a break in the Tuscan countryside or are curious about discovering more about yourself, we invite you to come and visit us — to experience firsthand the beauty and uniqueness of Dojo Bianco and what we have to offer.
